Anti-Bot
Snowcat DAO implements the following anti-bot functionality:
- 90% transaction tax on all SCAT buying and selling during the same block as a buyback, or when the admin adds liquidity
- Then, there is a linearly descending transaction tax on SCAT buys and sells for 7 seconds
- After 7 seconds, the selling tax reaches the normal 8% and the tax on buying is set to 0
- In effect, this sets up a descending price auction for the ability to transact first after a buyback or liquidity add
- 8% of the anti-bot tax is always redistributed to stakers
- A variable controls whether stakers or the admin wallet receives the remaining portion of the anti-bot tax
- The admins will receive the majority of the anti-bot tax from liquidity adding
- Stakers will receive the majority of the anti-bot tax from buybacks
